Letter: tried and tested way of communication

Communication is one of the key factors to keep any type of misunderstanding at bay. Discussion is a key to solve almost every problem. People opt for discussions over fights for problem resolving. Things move smoothly when there is no communication gap. Discussions, deliberations eliminate any possibility of not understanding anything properly. There are many types of communication methods such as letters, newspapers, telephones etc. The oldest and most trusted type is mailing. During ancient days when the kings ruled, they also had their own way of communicating developments or information to their subject. This was done through a declaration process. One of king’s messengers would declare that information to the people. Confidential information was always imparted through letters. Such as letters from higher officials to the king, king’s letters to his knights or churches, pfarrbrief and so on. Letters are very secretive in their nature. The information is shared only between the sender and receiver.

Many communities, particularly Christian, have their own churches and their own clergymen. They would carry out many activities within the church and these developments would be then informed to its people. This was done through pfarrbrief. These letters are mostly published monthly. Church activities, new developments, any changes or additions are carried out through the means of pfarrbrief. These letters, or can I say newsletters, are published through a particular church of a particular diocese. Christians, people who follow Christianity closely, have complete faith in their bishop and follow his pfarrbrief closely to match pace with the changing developments. For a bishop, these letters are a mean to communicate any event, any development, any addition to the follower of that particular community. These newsletters may also contain various graphics to cut the monotone of the content and make it more interesting. Another aspect added to it is the scriptures and gospels from Holy Bible. These newsletters are a mean to bridge the gap between priests and common people. They can also be used for spreading Christianity around the world, because they contain teachings of Jesus Christ. These letters lay emphasis on brotherhood, humanity and equality. They help in spreading kindness among people who read it. These letters are to be subscribed. They not only contain religious news and articles but also other important news all across world. This helps in keeping pace with the world.
